WEBSITE AND TOOLKIT TERMS

Scope
These terms govern use of the engineering toolkit website at guide.asm-water.com and the guide, sizing calculator, site feasibility checklist and related materials made available through it (the “Toolkit”). The website and Toolkit are provided by ASM Water Treatment Systems (“ASM”). By accepting these terms when requesting the Toolkit, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms.
Preliminary planning only
The Toolkit is an educational and preliminary planning resource. It does not constitute a final engineering design, equipment selection, performance guarantee, quotation, permit or regulatory approval. ASM engineering confirmation is required before relying on a configuration or equipment selection for a project. The project engineer and relevant authorities must confirm the applicable design and permitting requirements.
Project-specific sizing and scope
Residential flow must be established in U.S. gallons per day using documented project information and an allowance confirmed by the project engineer. Examples are illustrative and are not universal design criteria. The calculator screens SBR hydraulic reference capacities; it does not establish a complete treatment design or select an MBR system. Loading, peak flows, effluent limits, site conditions, pretreatment, storage, disinfection, utilities, redundancy and other interfaces can change the required system. MBR systems require project-specific engineering.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing your inputs and assumptions, retaining the applicable project basis, obtaining qualified engineering advice and securing required approvals. Spreadsheet outputs depend on the information entered and the software used. Review results and unresolved checklist items before submitting information for ASM review. Do not use the Toolkit as the sole basis for construction, procurement, operation or compliance decisions.
Technical and commercial information
Reference capacities, dimensions, electrical data, process descriptions and treatment values may change and must be confirmed for the specific project. Treatment outcomes depend on the final design, influent conditions, installation, operation and maintenance. The Toolkit does not establish a fixed equipment price, installed cost, lifecycle cost, delivery commitment or contractual scope. A project-specific ASM quotation and the applicable written agreement govern any purchase or service engagement.
Permitted use
You may download and use the Toolkit for your own project evaluation and share it with colleagues and professional advisers working on that evaluation. Preserve ASM attribution, technical limitations and preliminary-planning notices. Do not resell the Toolkit, misrepresent its source, remove its warnings or present a modified version as an ASM-approved document without ASM’s written permission. ASM and its licensors retain their rights in the materials, trademarks and website content.
Information you submit
Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, identify estimates and confirm that you are authorized to share submitted project information. Do not submit confidential information that requires a separate confidentiality agreement until that agreement is in place. Do not submit sensitive personal information through the toolkit form. Information associated with the website and requests is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security, submit malicious files or use forms to send spam. Access, files and download links may be updated, limited or withdrawn for maintenance, security or other operational reasons. Third-party websites and software are subject to their own terms and practices.
Limitations
The website and Toolkit are provided for general planning use, without a promise that they are complete, error-free or suitable for a particular project. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ASM disclaims warranties relating to reliance on the website or Toolkit for final design, procurement, construction, operating or regulatory decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited. Separate written project agreements remain controlling for purchased equipment and services.
Updates and contact
ASM may revise the website, Toolkit and these terms. The effective date above identifies this version. Contact ASM with questions or to request a project-specific technical review.
